Dr. Anand Kesari is American Board of Internal Medicine certified Gastroenterologist. He completed his Residency in internal medicine from SUNY Buffalo, NY and Fellowship in Gastroenterology from SUNY HSC at Brooklyn, NY, in the year 2001. He worked for four years at Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Roanoke, VA, USA, He was acting Chief of Gastroenterology and also Assistant Professor of Medicine. He cultivated an interest in Capsule endoscopy and has publications. He has been in private practice of Gastroenterology in the state of Florida since 2006.
He performs allmost all endoscopic procedures especially colonoscopy, polyp removal, EGD, ERCP, dilatation of strictures, Capsule endoscopy study of small intestine, Bravo pH monitor, PEG feeding tube placement
He specializes in painless non-surgical treatment of Internal Hemorrhoids by IRC technique in office.
Endosocpic Procedures
Dr. Kesari performs most endoscopic procedures at outpatient endoscopy centers in Ocala and Lady Lake under propofol induced sedation/anesthesia .
IRC Hemorrhoid treatment is performed in office
ERCP is performed in the Hospital.
